How we built a co-branded creative program to promote AARP Hearing Care by Soundly, a hearing health benefit offering AARP members a free hearing test, exclusive savings and expert support.
Hearing loss is one of the most common health conditions in older adults, and one of the most under-treated. Cost, confusion and stigma keep millions of people from ever trying hearing aids. AARP Hearing Care by Soundly was built to change that for AARP members. Our job: make sure members hear about it.
The gap between people who could benefit from hearing aids and people who use them is enormous.

Soundly built its name helping people research and compare hearing aids with unbiased guidance. AARP Hearing Care by Soundly brings that experience to AARP members, along with recognized brands and support every step of the way. Members get:
Program details from soundly.com/aarp and AARP. AARP commercial member benefits are provided by third parties, not by AARP or its affiliates.
The program spans prescription hearing aids through a national provider network and over-the-counter favorites like Sennheiser and Jabra Enhance, so the creative had to speak to both paths without confusing either.

We built creative that earns attention in the feed while respecting two brands at once.
Four messaging angles, each built around the AARP Hearing Care by Soundly lockup and member benefit badge.
Swipeable sequences that walk members from awareness to their free hearing test.
Storyboards for new AARP videos, including connected TV spots.
Fresh batches like “then and now” upgrades, hearing-test hooks and prescription co-branded ads.
A selection of the co-branded Meta statics we designed, organized by messaging angle. Each concept ships in feed, square and story sizes.
Leading with the membership people already trust.

Making the value concrete and easy to act on.

Showing there’s real, human support behind the product.

Gently starting the conversation about hearing.

A four-step story: the benefit, the guidance, the savings, the first step.

Promoting a member benefit means representing two brands and one promise. These guardrails shaped every asset.
The co-branded lockup and member benefit badge are placed consistently so AARP members instantly recognize a trusted benefit.
Savings and perks are described the way the program defines them, with no overpromising.
Large type, high contrast, simple layouts and one clear call to action per ad.
Warm, natural photography of people in their 50s, 60s and beyond, not twenty-somethings in earbuds.
“For an AARP member, the membership is the trust signal. Our job was to make the benefit impossible to miss and easy to act on.”
What we’ve learned building partner creative for an audience that’s seen every ad trick in the book.
For AARP members, the membership is the trust signal. Putting the co-brand front and center does more than any claim we could write.
“Exclusive savings” plus a clear next step beats vague promises about better hearing.
A free hearing test in under five minutes is a far smaller ask than “buy hearing aids.” Lead with it.
Imagery of real adults 50+ makes the ad feel like it was made for them, because it was.
Every concept ships in feed, square and story sizes, so nothing gets cropped into confusion later.
The program keeps evolving with new statics, carousels and video, including connected TV storyboards, so AARP members keep discovering the benefit wherever they spend time.
We build co-branded creative and paid media that respects both brands and drives action.
It’s a hearing health program built for AARP members, offering a free hearing test, member savings on prescription and over-the-counter hearing aids, and guided support from a national provider network. Learn more at soundly.com/aarp.
